Lotus E21 Renault (pre-launch speculation)

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Thoughts on how the E21 will stack up in the pecking order?
It was a good car at its best conditions (high temperatures), but also very inconsistent, whenever the temperatures dropped, they couldnt work the tyres anywhere as good. I hope they are helped in this by the new pirellis.
They were consistently good in hot wheather and consistently bad in cold wheather, especially when it rained. It took them a lot of time to bing tyres up to working temperatures

So the cooling outlets are directly built on the chassis? I don't see them as a cover they usually bolt on.

The question is... is it possible to re-market. The only reason for the photo above is marketing, so it would be pointless for them to release it if they intended to change livery.

I wonder what will they show, whether it will be modified E20 (last year they've used modified R31 on the presentation) or the real thing.
