Hallo,
I want ask if anybody know what acquisition systems do F1 teams use ?
Does it differ from team to team?

I know Motec,Magnetti Marelli, 2Dsystems,PIresearch,Bosch - these are used in some series such as FIA GT,DTM,LeMans

The primary data aquisition system is the MSM SECU. It interfaces with various subsystems that transmit data. Ciro has posted a system design diagram some time ago that I dug out of the aquisition documents at FIA.

From the SECU there are standardized field bus (CAN bus) connections to the FOM TV system, to FIA marshalling system and to the team data aquisition.

Ferrari and customers use a System made by Magneti Marelli which I can imagine is also widely used by teams that were on MM ECU before they had to use MSM. Earlier some teams used Pi systems from Ford/Jaguar but I think that died a quick death some years ago. so you will probably find that data aquisition on team side is mainly shared business for TAG McLaren and Magneti Marelli.
Formula One's fundamental ethos is about success coming to those with the most ingenious engineering and best .............................. organization, not to those with the biggest budget. (Dave Richards)

I believe Pi was a Cosworth subsidiary so when Williams dropped Cosworth after last year they disappeared from F1 entirely
