I heard they were turning up with a MGP W02 for tire testing purposes.

The only reasonable thing to do in my opinion. Gather info on tire change as long as your new car isn't ready.

I saw that, i was going on previous data.

Marussia are also sitting this one out as they need the time to get the MR01 sorted out.

haug now says they will be at first test with WO2 as they have some new parts they will be able to test , as well as getting some comparative data on 2012 tyres

Does anybody know if there is a TV source for watching these tests?

I noticed that Sky Sports F1 only begins on March 9th, which is after these tests.
And I don't suppose that BBC will be hosting on the Red Button.

Or there is just no video feed at all?

I've never heard of any video feed whatsoever, just random clips and summaries from teams.

The F2012 has left for Jerez today, but something that appeared odd to me was how they simply rolled it onto a transporter and called it a day. From everything I've seen of F1 transportation in the past, I've noticed that the cars are taken apart as to make it easier and not damage them.

I may be reading your post the wrong way; but surely a transporter would be far more secure than the semi-boxed version in your second photo?

The transporter itself isn't what I'm referring to, but rather how the car is packaged. Taking it apart reduces the risk of damaging the wings, sidepod, shields, floor, and diffuser, etc. And if it's the only car I would assume that they take more care of it than what's being demonstrated. But perhaps I'm simply over analyzing this.

Don't they do that to go to races anyway though? Maybe the most damageable parts won't even be used anyways - so would be write-offs in any case

Perhaps they designed another --- car and don't think damaging something could make it any worse
"There is a credit card with the Ferrari logo, issued by Santander, which gives the scuderia a % of purchases made with the card...

I would guess that such a serious amount of money would allow them to ignore the constant complains of a car that was nowhere near as bad as their #1 driver tried to sell throughout the season.

Heck, a car on which Massa finishes in the podium or has to lift so that his teammate finishes ahead (As we saw often in the final races of the year) is, by no means, a "bad" car."

They might be repackaging it only for airline transporting, not sure though...
