A lot of Mercedes cooling system is built into the tub. If Ferrari didn't do that, it would explain why they have so much stuff crammed together.

...they made it work with very long shaft. They simply move the clutch basket behind the all PU ancillaries. Now it sits deeply inside the longer gearbox casings. Similar dit Renault with RB (i guess so, according PR material)....

They appear to be testing a new position for the flap adjustment. I would not expect to see this set-up raced.

Don't think it is a speed sensor. If it was a pitot tube there would probably be more than one there and you would see an open hole at the end. My thoughts are that it could be a vibration sensor to see how the front of the car moves around. Vibrations can upset the airflow around the front wing.

On the front wing I wouldn't be surprised if they are testing it for future/next season use. It looks like it would create two counter rotating vortices just on the inside of the front tyre. Tyre wake control maybe?
