So they didn't design it that way for him.
Really? Wow. Did he not notice this before, because it appears it is his [former] team mate is the only one doing anything about it?
Alonso can drive a car with bad balance. Kimi can't, so he having to adapt his driving style.

Same with Massa and Vettel. In a good car Alonso, Vettel, Kimi and Massa would all be about as fast as each other. In a bad car, Alonso will still get decent results, the others, not so much. So you better hope James Allison builds a good Ferrari...

A HD video of Vettel's Ferrari debut, onboard with radio. The white helmet with red looks stunning. Especially the upper visor part, where HUBLOT is mentioned. I wonder why there haven't been many white helmets.

On some of the shots they switch from front to rear view.. on the front they run slicks and on the rear wets..
Probably it is due to the editing..?

German F1 broadcaster RTL reports that Pat Fry and Nicolas Tomazis are about to be made leave by Marchionne =D> =D> =D>

They are referring to an article in La Republica.

ABOUT TIME if I may say so IMHO.

It looks like it is because of editing. When he is doing his practice start and we get to see a shot from sideline you can see that he has soft slicks (yellow markings) both on front and rear wheels.

Simple - they get dirty easily. F1 drivers get sprayed with dust/dirt/oil/... pretty much continuously, they'd look like crap at the end of a race.

Very nice. By that logic the helmets must have wipers for cleaning visors. ain't it? Becuase I thought the kind of painting and stickering these helmets have, no dirt stand a chance. On top of that, the speed that they do in these cars, it is just good enough to rip any dirt off.

I'm getting fed up with this Vettel-thing. He and the team absolutely fantasize on recreating the Schumi era..
Well of course Ferrari would love to recreate a period of absolute dominance with Schumacher's protégée at the wheel. What did you expect them to wish for?

It was alleged a few weeks ago prior to the Vettel announcement that he was going to carry the can for the wind tunnel farce.

No, they don't need wipers, they need plastic tear offs. That's why you see pull-off tabs either side - so the driver can rip the top layer of the visor off when it gets too dirty.

Many F1 sites, mostly italian ones, announce that Bob Bell (previously Merc) has been hired by Ferrari and will resume work next march. =D>

Its must be frustrating for Alonso to see the changes he wished for in the team take place after he is out. Now all they need is Pat Symonds...
