I wonder what people's views on car requirement from these guys is. IMO both require a strong front with good turn in to carry speed across - and a unified direction will only help the team.

It's not that simple. In previous years, under previous management, the reliability was the main direction - I know this from a very trusted person. Why? Because Ferrari sells road cars. You don't want your top-notch, the pinnacle-of-the-technology-showcase to be considered as fragile.

This is certainly translated into conservative design with handful of innovations, which is not the case now, allegedly. The slap on the cheek for Ferrari's pride is bigger and worse than couple of fires on the track.

Supposedly both Seb and Kimi like strong front end, which is usually a good starting point. It's James Allison's time. Providing that engine power is sorted.

I hope Seb can continue naming his cars, now he has moved to Ferrari.

Honestly I didn't see that coming at all. A big surprise to me

I think people are just tossing around words without really understanding what it means.

Perhaps, it's been widely stated that most of all, Vettel likes (perhaps even needs) a car that is settled under braking.

Indeed. And perhaps Italian names this time... Roberta? Carla? Florentina? Gemma? Giorgia?

Tombazis and Fry are set to leave the team. James Allison is going to be the new Technical director...
