Incredible packaging on the sidepods, There's very little undercut because they don't even need it!

I find your post peculiar. Specifically that you wouldn't call it ugly.

I believe that car has a decent claim to win, if not definitely come in the top 3 of a real poll of most ugliest F1 cars in the history of Grand Prix racing.

That's top 3 of ugliest -ever-.

Honestly, if you don't find that car ugly, is there anything that you would consider ugly at all?
F1 car width now 2.0m (same as 1993-1997). Lets go crazy and bring the 2.2m cars back (<1992).

What's interesting in that compare picture is the amount of free space under the suspension of the Ferrari. If they truly intend to have the airflow go over and off the sides of that nose, then once the air leaves the nose it has nothing in its way. Very open design.

Yep, check this comparison of the volume under the chassis. Ferrari's is much larger.

im no aerodynamicist, but i agree, wasn't that pointed out as beeing a problem already last year when their car was covered in flowvis, it showed that, at that spot the flow didnt stay attached ?,
but im sure they know what they are doing

The Inlet is much smaller than the Macca/Williams, not so sure about the sidepod being smaller...

Those 2 certainly have more of an undercut.
