Ferrari F14T

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Also, the new nose looks to have a concave shape (it sinks downwards) if you look at Kimi's 7.

Previously it seemed to be convex.

I Could be wrong: Maybe its just an angle we havent seen before, maybe its reflections. hard to tell.

No, it's the same nose.

Also, it still looks less advanced than front wings on other cars, especially Mercedes and McLaren. Nothing special.

Seemed different to me as well. But need better photos. The black painting seems different

Please explain what makes you think that this Mclaren wing is more advanced?
To me it looks the other way around.. Ferrari's wing looks way more advanced..

Raikkonen is using a Bell helmet again? I remember somewhere last year that he said he wanted to keep using his Bell-helmet at Ferrari.

Still not as advanced as the mercedes wing (which was right there from the beginning). Mercedes did more with the cascades and the turning vane/flap/wing angle adjuster on top of the wing.

That being said, it is a good upgrade.

What do you mean "not as advanced". Have you actually done CFD/wind tunnel testing on these and discovered which sends air to the necessary places better?

What you really mean is "visually, this has fewer twiddly bits", which is far from "advanced".
