We start with a clean sheet of paper for 2014, new engine regulations, slight aero modifications and a few new faces / team lineups for what seems to be an enthralling season of Formula 1.

Without further delay, let us walk through the Melbourne Grand Prix for 2014 (Please note - some stills and video may be from 2012 / 2013).

If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

Why? Isn't it after the last race is over? Months overdue! ;-)

My weather sources also indicate a good chance of rain for the event, although it won't be particularly heavy rain. I'm thinking a damp Friday, and overcast for both Saturday and Sunday.

You've got to be kidding, that's about as risky as predicting all Pirelli tires on the podium.

Excited for the season to start anyway. Come on Australia!!

I have a strong feeling , even Marussia or Caterham has a chance to score some points in first race.

It's okay, mate. I'm predicting an all F1 car podium, so fingers crossed!

In November I predicted ALO-HAM-RAI in any order on Twitter, so I hope to get at least one of those guys on there.

8 cars on the podium? I don't know if that's possible.

Rain predicted for race sunday atm.

Turbo-pwer in the rain with sh*t Pirelli rain tyres will lead to one long safetycar phase and or many crashes.

I hope it will be dry.
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.
