The Singapore Grand Prix race

According to FIA Sporting Regulations, the maximum tolerance of Formula 1 main race is 4 hours if in an event of red flag or lengthy Safety Car (SC) period but in exception of Singapore, the maximum tolerance of Formula 1 main race is 2 hours in accordance of Singaporean government sporting event regulations which stated that the maximum deadline hours of every sporting events in Singapore is 10:00 pm local time as Singapore Grand Prix Formula 1 usually held at nighttime.

But if in case of red flag or lengthy Safety Car period in Singapore Grand Prix, the number of laps will forced to reduce depending on situation.

Is this a new rule from this season onwards? Singapore is traditionally the 'longest' race so if there is a Red Flag or even multiple safety cars I see it being quite likely they will have to shorten the race
