so with the new rules how do you think pitstop will go down when the safety car is deployed, which driver pit's first. do you stack them if possible
do you pit the number one driver first then the number two driver the next lap. just wonering any opinions.
Depending on the drivers and constructors situation.
First off, the car pitting second will lose a LOT of time either way. However, if they stack them they will only lose 10-15 seconds, if they leave him out an extra lap he will go the to end of the pack (end of the lead-lap-pack at best).
So in most situations they will stack.
BUT. If its towards the end of season, and the constructors title is won or lost already, and the teams 2nd driver is in front of the 1st driver, they would most likely send the No2 driver around again.
If the No2 driver is in front of the No1, they cannot switch positions under SC conditions, (only by sending No2 around for another lap).
