It's bound to fail, the FIA are even lying to ensure the appeal fails, claiming that the appeal is inadmissible because Scott Andrews confirmed he'd made a mistake last year in his ruling on Liuzzi. However, Scott Andrews appears to have taken umbrage at this:-

Scott Andrews said that he was “extremely surprised by the content” of the FIA's e-mail, which he described as “grossly inaccurate and misleading”. He also said that at no time during his conversation with Whiting had he been asked if he had made a mistake in imposing a time penalty on Liuzzi. “Had he [Whiting] done so, the answer would have been ‘no',” Scott Andrews wrote.

I don't think it should be the governing body's role to spread misinformation. :x

Why oh why couldn't they have just let that result stand - that was an epic battle between two of the best drivers on the grid. Everything there was hard, to the limit, but ultimately fair.

Stupid stewards. Stupid FIA.

Being as generous as humanly possible it was marginal whether there was any offense. Also note in the video how Kimi stayed off circuit to gain traction and track position on Hamilton, and how he went into a waved yellow zone at high speed where Hamilton had to brake and swerve off track to avoid Rosberg and Kimi dived between the two of them, somehow just missing them both.

Note how Kubica and, I believe, Alonso, cut through chicanes at Singapore and how Kubica even hit Kovaleinen in the process, causing him to lose two positions and damage the floor of his car.

All of those should be classed as racing incidents and ignored by the stewards, but there you are being all smug because Hamilton was stupidly singled out and got penalised for daring to overtake a Ferrari on track.

Well I like to think that stupid Ferrari have shot themselves in the foot with their oh so clever traffic light system, and that the advantage Massa gained from Spa (despite an amazingly average drive) was equaled out in Singapore.
