Wasn't this supposed to be against the rules? Why bring it?
They could test with it, compare data with previous years when these things were allowed. See, as long as they don't qualify and race with them, then they're fine.

Oh, and let's not forget mind games. Islam apparently is already falling for it.

Can't they somehow claim that it is part of the exhaust?

No. The apertures for the exhaust system are highly regulated.
I am not amazed by F1 cars in Monaco. I want to see them driving in the A8 highway: Variable radius corners, negative banking, and extreme narrowings that Tilke has never dreamed off. Oh, yes, and "beautiful" weather tops it all.

The rules state that there cannot be any apertures in that area except for suspension, driveshafts and only one exhaust aperture each side.

Bahrain is too flat and featureless for me. It has no soul, it's just a cookie cutter track to me. The buildings are the only things that are of interest, even the V8 Supercars race was lame as far as feel and me getting into what they drivers are doing.

Well, Bernie nearly did, didn't he? If Donningtons management were a little bit more professional, we'd be in for a nice rollercoaster ride! Love that track.

That's true you know. It is a brilliant track. Especially for bikes because it's really a little narrow in places for the cars. Maybe the little white knight would be interested in procuring the track for future development.

F1 would have ruined Donington. Same with Brands Hatch.

Imagine what F1 would do to Oulton Park for example (I'd love to see an F1 car on it but...):

If you love a traditional circuit then don't wish for it to be an F1 track...

The FiA has nominated AlainProst as the first driver steward for the Bahrain GP. =D>

Could he also be a candidate for F1 commissioner?
