Senna is taking the Dallara HRT on the track and completes an installation lap.

The virgin isn't too bad, it's 2 seconds off the pace, though the track is rubbered in more than when Sutil set his time.

Glock is driving the virgin on the edge and almost loosing it twice in a lap.

I wonder why we have this thread. There is an official thread for the GP weekend. It has always been used for free practise.

The new cars look pretty unstable at the high G turns. Understeer in abundance!
The lotus looks like the better car to drive over the whole race, though the virgin seems to have more pace.

I thought tyre warmer were ban this year. Are they just using them in practice?

tyre warmers aren't banned, but the wheel fairings are banned along with rim heaters; tyre warmers are allowed.
