Methinks tyres will be even more problematic due to the infamous T8

Let's see if Mercedes can do it better this year.

I think Vettel will win and still run away with this championship. He would have won today quite comfortably if he had 3 stopped.

Exactly what I think as well. It was a lucky escape for Mclaren today.

Well strategy is part of the game, and I don't think McL was lucky in terms of them 3-stopping. That was good on them. BUT I will give it to them that RBR had the brainfade (or radio error) that meant they stayed on the 2-stopper with Seb; they were lucky in that respect.

With turn 8 on those Pirrellis it definitely will!

I was wondering. With T8 the way it is, how likely is it that in an attempt to help with the front right's wear, some teams actually start to adopt positive camber on part of their setup?

Well positive camber is a bit over the top, but I sure think they take T8 into their setup giving it a bit less camber for example.

I would've thought you would need positive on the Front left and negative on the front right if you wanted a setup geared completely for T8 tyre preservation

It will be a compromise. Setting up for turn 8 allows you an overtake opourtunity the next couple of corners. But it wil hinder you on the slower last couple of corners if you have set up to much for the faster left hander. With Pirelli bringing softer tyres and the actual ambient heat expected to be higher, we could see a 4 stop race being the norm here.
Even cars that are kind on their tyres will still not be able to do longer stinits without suffering slower lap times as we saw today.

Basically, no one is safe!
More could have been done.

No no, I'm not talking about setting up for speed through Turn 8. I'm talking about minimising the wear that is experienced through Turn 8.
