Euro Disney pull out of French GP plans
The company Lagardère Sports and Euro Disney abandoned the project to build a Formula 1 circuit at Val-d'Europe. Residents had demonstrated against the noise that will result from holding the French Grand Prix in their region.
Bernie Ecclestone has always been a believer in a circuit at Euro Disney, but it now appears unlikely as a venue, and hence may jeopardise even any French GP after 2009. At least that is if Magny-Cours is not improved considerably.
