Brawn GP to cut jobs

By on

As expected by many, the Brawn GP team will have to reduce its total workfoce by at least a couple hundred. This despite Ross Brawn's assurance that the team was focusing on keeping all of its employees, even though the team had a rough winter.

Nick Fry, Cheif Executive for the Brawn GP team told the press after the teams 1-2 finish, "It's very unfortunate that we've got to do that but it's the change of technical regulations and obviously we are now a private team."

"We are about 700 people at the moment and we talked to the staff about going down to about 430, something like that, which is where we were in 2004 (as BAR)."
