Ricciardo reigns in second Monaco practice

Daniel Ricciardo has shown in the second practice session at Monaco that Red Bull Racing indeed has reason to be optimistic about its chances at this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix. The Australian was more than half a second faster than Lewis Hamilton, who was another 3 tenths ahead of his Mercedes team mate.

Confirming Red Bull's form is Max Verstappen who set the 4th fastest time, a second down on his team mate albeit running a Renault power unit without the most recent upgrades.

Toro Rosso also confirmed they are on form this weekend, with both its drivers going 5th and 6th fastest, ahead of Raikkonen, Perez and Vettel. That also meant Jenson Button is the fastest McLaren in 10th, perhaps slightly disappointing for the team following Boullier's and Dennis' recent comments on their expectations.
