Bottas and Ricciardo in unusual action

Daniel Ricciardo and Valtteri Bottas will experience a drive in a spectacular environment. The duo of the Australian and Finn driver will rush through the wonderful streets of Budapest, the capital of Hungary.

On the first of May, the streets of the mesmerizing Hungarian capital will host a special motorsport event called Great Race.

The event which will be held for the fifth time aims to bring race cars, motorbikes, trucks to fans as close as it never can happen in a close circuit. The Great Race was already held around the one of Europe’s most beautiful building, the Hungarian Parliament, on the quays of Danube River.

This year, the racing machineries will demonstrate their frightening speed and power on Budapest’s best known shopping street, the Andrássy Street which gives place to the Hungarian Opera House, many villas and which ends in the picturesque Heroes’ Square.

The paddock area will be placed on the Deák Place which is one of the most popular place of the Pest side of Budapest and where some top-notch hotels are placed which are popular among Formula One teams over the course of the Hungarian GP.

In 2017, F1, WTCC, DTM, NASCAR, rally, Formula Renault 3.5 cars, trucks and sportcars will bewitch the spectators’ eyes and ears.

Two current F1 teams will represent themselves. Daniel Ricciardo will drive for Red Bull while Valtteri Bottas will run in a Mercedes. The two drivers will fly directly from Russia where the Russian GP will take place the day before.

Norbert Michelisz will drive a WTCC car, Gerhard Berger a Nascar machinery. Robert Wickens, Timo Glock and Nico Müller will take DTM beasts on to the streets, Karl Wendlinger will burn rubber with the F1 Sauber C14 car while Roy Nissany and Tamás Kis Pál will be behind the wheel of Formula Renault 3.5.
