2007 F1 calendar

By on

Further to a fax vote of the World Motor Sport Council the following calendar has been approved for the 2007 FIA Formula One World Championship. We see that the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps is back on the calendar after a year of absence. There are 17 races scheduled for the 2007 F1 season.

The new season with 17 Grand Prix leaves out the GP of Imola and the race held at Hockenheim. The latter was formerly named German GP, but since the Nurburgring becomes the only German circuit on the calendar, it will inherit that name.
