Spyker supports the 'Find Madeleine' campaign

On 3 May, three-year-old British girl Madeleine McCann went missing from her family holiday home in Praia da Luz, Portugal. Despite the best efforts of her family and friends, she still has not been found. Her parents, Gerry and Kate, have been heading a publicity campaign to raise awareness of her story and prompt leads to find young Maddie.

This weekend in Monaco, the Etihad Aldar Spyker Formula One Team will be running with a sticker to keep the Find Madeleine campaign in the forefront of everyone’s minds. The sticker with the wording ‘Look for Maddie’ and her distinctive eye colour will be on the engine cover for the whole race weekend.

Team principal and managing director, Colin Kolles, said, "As a British-based team, we have, like so many others, been touched by the sad story of Maddie. A large part of our team, including myself, have children and can only imagine what her parents are going through and we wanted to help in any way we could. The Monaco Grand Prix is one of the biggest events on the sporting calendar and we hope this will take the message to a wider global audience and remind people that, even in the glamour of Monaco, there is a little girl who still needs to be found. We just hope she is returned safe and well to her family soon."
