Webber's brake testing under investigation

Yesterday evening, the stewards at the Canadian Grand Prix were going to look into Mark Webber's 'brake test' that led to a collision with Toro Rosso's Scott Speed during one of the free practice sessions.

Speed expressed his anger towards Webber, but the Australian Red Bull driver said that the American had been asleep during the final moments of the session. Webber declared that Speed braked 100 metres earlier in the run to turn 8 than the previous laps.

"I managed then to get my stuff together and get down the inside of him. And I went around the next corner quite slow," Webber admitted.
