To be unveiled on Friday 4 July at the Silverstone circuit, just seven miles from the team’s operational base at Brackley, the earthdreams experience showcases Honda’s racing heritage and provides an insight into the team’s earthdreams programme.

The earthdreams experience will be housed within an impressive 500 square foot, 12m high domed structure which will be located behind the Pit Straight grandstand at Woodcote.

Featuring a 180 degree, high definition video theatre which can seat more than 100 guests at a time, fans can view a uniquely formatted five-screen-wide 12-minute film which highlights Honda’s proud motor sport history, and how the Honda Racing F1 Team is connecting dreams with action across the globe through the nine earthdreams projects which are currently operating in cities as diverse as Melbourne, Montreal and Sao Paulo.

Fans will also get the chance to see what the interior of the Honda team’s garage looks like with an authentic garage recreation featuring a full-size Formula One car, and browse the team merchandise in the retail area.

Honda Racing F1 Team Marketing Director, David Butler, commented: “The Honda Racing F1 Team is very proud to unveil our earthdreams experience at the first of our two ‘home’ races in the 2008 Formula One season. Motor sport fans at Silverstone this weekend will have the opportunity to truly engage with our team and learn more about Honda’s passion for racing and our commitment to promoting environmental awareness. The earthdreams experience brings fans closer to the heart of Formula One and we are looking forward to welcoming visitors over the British Grand Prix weekend.”

The earthdreams experience opens to fans attending the British Grand Prix from 13:00pm on Friday 4 July.
