The Brabham BT52 was a very simple and clean design, i like it very much.

Indeed, but to my mind the 1985 BT54 was even more elegant, pity about that Italian rubber though, ruined the season.

It's only pretty because of the paintjob.

The F60 ain't much of a desing classic, but that uniterrupted red scheme...it's gorgeous. similar to the F2001 in Imola..but that was only red for different reasons...black nose+semptember 2001...

I cried like a baby when I saw Alonso win the Malaysian GP. I almost died of happy when he lifted the trophy.

YES!! No more I-4 Turbo's!!! for now at least...

This is the problem with F1 today, people that see a loop hole (or a "loose" rule) and decide to close it instead of letting the flaw in the rules be fully exploited.
This experimenting/ingenuity/looking for an advantage is what f1 is about, its all about who can get closest to breaking the rules and pushing design and engineering to the limit. Thinking outside the box!!

Mercedes nose cone reminds me of a duck
Modern F1 Cars (namely since 2004) are ugly mainly because of stupid and senseless technical regulations, so please Mr. Todt let's get back to 2m wide cars, for example like we had in the mid 90's or like the Indycars of the same period, with almost no winglets or other aero devices on the bodywork. I think that in 1995, when the size of rear and front wings was reduced a lot, we had two quite smart, competitive and not at all inaesthetic F1 design routes:

The Ferrari 412-T2...A low-nose configuration!

And the Williams-Renault FW-17...A high-nose configuration!

When you said "similar to the F2001 in Imola"...i guess you wanted to say Monza, because the Italian GP came imediatelly after 9/11 and to express their condolences to the victims, Ferrari ran the cars in red without sponsorship leaving the nose cone in carbon black as a sign of mourning. :(
