Possible Ferrari engine deal for Honda F1 team

By on

As the Honda F1 team is not only looking for a new team owner, but also an engine supplier, team principal Ross Brawn has contacted his old stable mates at the Scuderia Ferrari in search of a possible powertrain deal between the two teams. And according to a spokesperson from the scuderia, the deal might just go through.

A Ferrari spokesperson shared with our colleagues at 'gpupdate': "The team has asked us if we are able to provide them with engines and we said yes."

This coming as a beam of hope to the Brackley based outfit, especially since the Honda Motor Co. has given the team only until the end of this month to find a buyer.
