Vettel another driver to express interest in rallying

It seems that the 2009 Rally Finland sparked much interest in rallying by Formula One drivers, as Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen and Red Bull's Sebastien Vettel were both present. Albeit Raikkonen was competing and Vettel was only spectating as a guest of the Citroen World Rally team.

"This is my first time at the World Rally Championship and it's been fascinating. It is high speed and it's nice to be out at the stages to watch it. It is nearly as quick as F1, but with no run off and on gravel," said Vettel.

"I was able to get some advice from Sebastien Loeb, and there is no one better. I have plenty to do in F1, but who knows maybe one day I will compete in the WRC, I wouldn't mind doing some drives in the future."

The young german would join Raikkonen as the latter occasionally participates in rally events when not occupied by his Formula One duties.
