Ferrari back on the test track

After a race to quickly forget in Melbourne, the Scuderia Ferrari got back to testing today at the circuit of Vallelunga, near Italy's capital city, Rome. The two test drivers of Ferrari, Luca badoer and Marc Gene were on track today.

First day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, working today at Vallelunga, on the outskirts of Rome.

The two Scuderia official test drivers, Luca Badoer and Marc Gene were in action today. The Italian driver used a 248 F1, working on development of the V8 engine and new components. His Spanish colleague was at the wheel of an F2004, fitted with a regulated power version of the V10 engine and began a Bridgestone tyre development programme.

Badoer covered a total of 150 laps, setting a best time of 1'13"388. Gene did 113, the quickest in a time of 1'13"052.
