JP and Kimi meet the press

Team McLaren Mercedes kicked off the first of three home Grand Prix for the team by inviting international media to a day of activities at the Nurburgring in Germany yesterday. Starting in the morning journalists had the opportunity to experience the breathtaking track layout of the Nordschleife in a C 55 AMG or SLK 55 AMG driven by former and current Mercedes DTM drivers Klaus Ludwig, Bernd Schneider, Bernd Mayländer and Stefan Mücke.

Following that both Team McLaren Mercdedes drivers Kimi Raikkonen and Juan Pablo Montoya joined the event and posed with the MP4-21 and the original Mercedes-Benz silver arrow, which made its debut at the Nurburgring in 1934 before making themselves available for TV interviews. They then visited the Mercedes-Benz grandstand for further print interviews.
