Possibly one single wet tyre from Bridgestone in the future

This change comes as a request by some of the teams, after having experienced very different performance levels between the intermediate and extreme wets. But even though the current supplier has already designed that one single wet tyre, the teams are undecided on whether to push on with the decision or not.

Speaking to 'autosport.com', Bridgestone head of tyre development Hirohide Hamashima commented on the issue, "It is still not a clear picture, we will test it during next season and then after that we will make a conclusion. We are bringing it (to tests) now, but is not yet (tested). No rain."

Although Bridgestone itself prefers to stay with the current two wet tyre design, since it increases the level of safety.
