After a promising 2008 season, the Toyota F1 team is even more hopeful for 2009. The Japanese team expects to take its much awaited first race win, after getting close this season with a podium, courtesey of Jarno Trulli. They also expect 100% reliability, which is a difficult task as it is, but even more so now with changes such as KERS.

"Toyota's goal in F1 is to win and we didn't achieve this in 2008," said Tadashi Yamashina, Toyota team principal. He added, "We will target 100 per cent reliability even if we know it's an ambitious target."
