Hadjar sees no reason why VCARB "wouldn't work at Montreal as it did in the past three races"

On the back of strong performances in the last three European races, Racing Bulls drivers Isack Hadjar claims that he cannot see any reasons why his car wouldn't work at Montreal as it did in the last rounds.
Racing Bulls has enjoyed a successful period recently. Last time out, Isack Hadjar started in the top 10 at the Spanish Grand Prix, and finished there, somehow managing to keep out of trouble as around him there was plenty of overtakes and collisions. The Frenchman grabbed a seventh-place finish at Barcelona, collecting a total of six points.
His team-mate Liam Lawson had two moments fighting with Williams driver Alex Albon. After not pitting under the late safety car intervention, he found himself in the last point-scoring place, but on slightly older tyres, fell back late on as Fernando Alonso managed to sneak past.
Speaking ahead of this weekend's Canadian Grand Prix, Hadjar expects his VCARB to display a strong performance despite the fact that the Montreal track features very different characteristics compared to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
"Barcelona was another great weekend for us and part of an amazing European triple-header. The car is working fine and I’m excited to get back behind the wheel this week in Canada.
"It will be my first time driving in Montréal. It’s a very unique track and it’s definitely going to be a challenge, but there’s no reason why the car wouldn’t work as it did in the past three races.
"As a team, we’re confident to go racing and fight for another Q3 and hopefully points," concluded Hadjar.
His team-mate Liam Lawson has admitted that while he has not raced at Montreal yet, he is looking forward to getting behind the wheel of his VCARB because of the history of the venue.
“I’m super excited for Montréal race week. It’s a very special race and a track which has been on the Formula One calendar for a very long time. When I was a kid I grew up watching the Canadian GP, with drivers having their debut victories here.
"I came to Montréal as a reserve driver last year and loved the city, so I’m really looking forward to having the opportunity to race for the first time on track this weekend.“
