Honda continues test work at Valencia

The Honda Racing F1 Team continued its test programme at the Valencia circuit in Spain today, although further cold weather and intermittent rain showers meant that running was once again disrupted. In the new RA107 car, Rubens Barrichello went out for a short time in the morning session to work through an evaluation of the Bridgestone wet weather tyres. With the track drying out by early afternoon, he then went on to complete some dry tyre runs, covering a total of 73 laps today.

In the RA106, James Rossiter completed only an installation lap in the morning before moving on to a dry tyre evaluation in the afternoon session, alongside some electronics controls work. James completed 29 laps today.

James will continue his running in the RA106 tomorrow with Jenson taking over from Rubens in the RA107.
