Birthday of Italian driver Giancarlo Fisichella. Often called 'Fisico' and seen as a true talent by lots of people. Won his first race in a Jordan in Brazil 2003 but later at Renault seemed to suffer a bit when pressurized. Fisichella was born in Rome and started his career with Minardi in 1996.
Kumar Ram Narain Karthikeyan was born January 14, 1977 in Coimbatore, India. He has previously competed in Formula One, and is currently an A1GP driver. He made his Formula One debut in 2005 with the Jordan team, and was a WilliamsF1 test driver in 2006 and 2007. He also owns a racing team in the domestic racing in india.

The full name of the new Ferrari is still unknown, and the team don't even know whether the car will be ready for the launch. However, a press presentation is held with the team management present. The first test is scheduled for monday 15 January behind closed doors at Fiorano.

The BMW Sauber F1 Team will launch its 2007 Formula One challenger, the F1.07, at Valencia's fair district, the 'Feria de Valencia'. After the presentation and photoshoot, the F1.07 will take the track at the Circuit de Communitat. The BMW Sauber F1 Team drivers will complete some laps with the new car.

Joseph Gilles Henri Villeneuve (January 18, 1950 – May 8, 1982) was a Canadian Formula One racing driver. He is considered one of the greatest drivers ever in Formula One and was known for his kind character combined with incredible skills.
Villeneuve died in a 140 mph crash with the March of Jochen Mass during practice for the 1982 Belgian Grand Prix at Zolder.
Mexican Pedro Rodríguez is a double winner in F1. He was considered the best driver of his era in the wet. He developed into one of the sport's greatest all-rounders, racing CanAm, NASCAR, rallies and even becoming North American Ice Racing champion in 1970.
Rodríguez was killed in an Interserie sports car race at Norisring in Nuremberg, Germany, on 11 July 1971, at the wheel of a Ferrari 512M.
Button was born in Frome, Somerset, England. He was the youngest man in F1 when he joined Williams in 2000 and drove for Benetton in 2001 and Renault in 2002 before joining BAR which later became the Honda works team. When Honda left in 2008, the team was renamed to Brawn GP and Button clinched his first world championship, battling it out with Sebastian Vettel's Red Bull until the final race.
In 2010 he chose to join McLaren and partner Lewis Hamilton.
Scott Andrew Speed was born on 24 January 1983 in Manteca, USA. He made his F1 race debut at the 2006 Bahrain Grand Prix as 2nd driver for the new Scuderia Toro Rosso F1 Team.

The Honda Racing F1 Team will unveil their 2007 challenger on the 25th of January at the circuit of Barcelona in Spain. The Japanese team will launch their RA107 with the black interim testing livery before unveiling their final colours during a special event. Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello will take the Spanish track with the new car a day before the launch.

The Red Bull Racing Team will unveil their 2007 challenger, the RBR3. It is the first Red Bull car designed by design guru Adrian Newey. The launch takes place at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona.

Takuma Sato was born on January 28, 1977. In 2002, Sato graduated to F1 and raced for the Jordan team. For the 2003 season, Takuma moved to B.A.R. as test driver and drove the final race of the season as replacer of Jacques Villeneuve. He was granted a raceseat alongside Jenson Button during the next two years. After the 2005 season, Sato moved to the all new, Japanese team, Super Aguri.
