Indeed, i would expect a lot of dodging and burning in this image to really bring out the depth, but it isn't a composite image, the panning at the odd angle is what makes its so good, just pure brilliance that the tub is the main focal point despite being a panned shot. The photo was taken by Rainer Schlegelmilch

To those of you who are providing actual answers to the question at hand, as opposed to snidely deriding the person who asked it: thanks, it's a welcome surprise.

I'm surprised. Did not expect that many old photos available digitally.

I still maintain that there are tons which are out there in purely physical media. I've seen them with my own eyes!

The translation from negative to digital media is purely dependant on the negative scanner resolution. I merely said that for the laymen, the units available did not provide good enough resolution. Industrial negative scanners did and still have excellent resolution but at GBP10,000-00 I'm not exactly going to leave one laying about the study...!

I found some on the google but I want more. I guess there are millions of them but I dont know where to find them.

Is there a way? A site? I mean a link to download? A tor-rent or share ? I need them to be more than 1000x700 in average. Please tell me

:wtf: You do realise that High res digital photography is really something thats only come along in the last 10 yrs...

Everything before then was on 35mm film....

You're going to have to buy prints from Sutton Images and scan them in. These will no way have anywhere near the quality of getting a digital photograph in RAW or JPG ascaned from the negative.

How about that then : http://onlyhdwallpapers.com/wallpaper/1 ... 288668.jpg ?

Did they have dslr in 1979? There are HIGH RES pics. Some guys gave me good answers and I will check it. I would like though to buy BULK ( :P If i can say that so ).

I guess the owners of the photos have transfered their photos to their pieces and they are now digital files. THere is a way of course. I would like to buy this digital files. mpeg, jpeg for example in high res. I will try to find the best price or even find free photos of f1 as well. If u know sites with free photos plz tell

Uhhhh, right... You realise that current DSLRs can already capture a greater dynamic range than any film available well... ever?

The image you linked I would bet pretty heavily was not actually taken with a camera but painted/drawn/illustrated in some way. If it was taken with a camera, has had significant amounts of post production done on it.
Nope, not even close. The only digital cameras that can capture low light photos that are at best decent compared to film have only come along in the last 5 years or so, and they cost a grip. It'll be quite a while before DSLR sensors reach the dynamic range of film without serious compromises. Low light capability is only getting pretty good here lately, low light photos that are taken on film were better 50 years ago than they are today. Digital sensors and cameras are faster at seeing results, not necessarily better. Especially in low light.

You can "push" film in developing,,,can't do that with digital

Film is roughly 14 stops of dynamic range, modern high end dslr's will shoot 14 stops or more just fine.

Really? I may as well stop shooting in raw then since I'm not gaining anything according to you.
