I know for certain that TSN (Canada) uses it.

Yeah but i bet no one pays sky for it. Sky Sports F1 is made for BRITISH broadcast, so the commentators are well within their rights to be supporting a British driver. They dont make the broadcast and think we better be neutral for Macedonia or Canada.
If those countries want neutral or home support from their commentators, then they better get on and sort their own channel out.

Add Australia and new zeland to this list. Theres probably more. And you have to pay for sky nz in new zeland and probabaly for fox in AU (not sure about that one).

@NathanOlder, regardless if Sky is broadcasting for British audiences only or the the whole world, a commentator must be as neutral as possible. Maybe Vettel has some British fans as well, maybe Max is loved by the British as well, so for example Martin must keep his balance when commenting, which he is most of the time, but sometimes you can feel and notice when the sky crew jumps in defense of HAM even if it is a absurd thing off track like once when I watched the Syk weekly report they were defending HAM's instagram post ect. So what I'm saying here is that I, personally don't want to hear the commentator cheer for Man.UND when I watch a derby game against Aresnal or Liverpool, I want them to be neutral, same with F1.

Again SKY F1 are the best and 90% of the time there are neutral so it works for me, I just hope they will cheer for Mclaren like they do for HAM....Just kidding

yeah so sky havent done their broadcast thinking, we better be neutral for people n Macedonia watching is all im saying. Its made for the british viewers, so its probably better to be british biased so the british fans enjoy the show more.

With the exception of Will Buxton, I won't miss anyone at NBCSports. Look forward to the Sky team and their additional coverage.

There used to be a day we got all practise all quali for free on eurosport.
Till sky and bernie started milking this cashcow, just because people in the uk are used to paying for any sport on tv.
Also then suddenly started the discussion that the races are not exciting enough and we needed drs and crap tires.
Just for 3 guys and one girl to look good in their expensive shirts and shoes on the grid pretending they have knowledge about the sport. Same format on uk and their football tv shows. once you look through the flashy intros and nonsense it gets boring quickly.
Show the race give us various camera angles and i don't need Martin Brundle to protect his favorite drivers when they mess up.

You expect the commentators to be less biased then, oh lets say the brits on this board? Probably think it's terrible that their are no doubt Russian commentators that are very biased in favor of Daniil Kvyat
You're kidding right?
Everywhere you turn people have their favorites and national pride on display.
Seems nutty to me to expect people to turn off their biases.
For heaven sake you can see many people on this board for the U.S., against the U.S.. For British drivers that are not that talented just because they are Brits and visa versa..
You cannot ban biases.
You simply cannot expect SKY to turn off their nationalism.

Nothing is worse than James Allen in 07 jacking his --- over Hamilton.

I thought he was super fast, but the man-boy love fest literally turned me off to Hamilton completely.

And it was all iTV and James Allen's fault.

I think Sky have their favorite, but are professional and have deep access.

Looking forward to Kravits' Notebook for Testing!
