haha, that has been a bit click-baity title indeed :) (though I personally didn't mind)

According to this: https://maxf1.net/en/2018-f1-power-unit-elements-usage/

10 drivers kept within the limits of 3 ICE, 3 TC, 3 MGU-H, 2 MGU-K, 2 ES and 2 CE. Actually, they were exactly on the limit. Do we stay here to discuss if that's a good or bad outcome or is it all? :P

here is the official FIA document prior to ABU, and no one made changes during ABU.

Everyone has to have something to be good at! It's always comforting to shine and top the charts ;) Nico and Daniel fought hard though, they deserve some credit too

Knowing that both Lewis and Seb fought for the WDC title, and them keeping within 3 engines, and 'just' 2 of some other parts, i think that's pretty impressive.

For Mercedes especially knowing the engine was about to go boom in brazil,
and Ferrari knowing they had a very bad history with severe engine breakdowns the past years which cost them the title,
i'm pretty impressed with those actual figures.

Ferrari still had some problems on Raikkonen's car which resulted in 2 engine related DNFs (spain, abu dhabi). They had one severe problem on Vettel's car in brasil but that one was a software/sensor issue, so it wasn't race ending.

While Vettel's car was pretty much bulletproof, 2 DNFs for Raikkonen, even if he managed the season within allowed components, is not something to write home about.

Oh wow, 10 drivers were actually within the regulatory limit? That's actually impressive as a little over a decade ago we had one engine for each race.

I do hope they will now stop reducing the parts though. It's getting a bit crazy.

The FIA can't be trusted to do anything correctly it seems, as they changed the urls for the direct downloads.

On this page under "Techincal Reports" click "Technical Report Doc4 - PU elements used per driver up to now".

Here is the new direct link to the pdf that currently works, though who knows how long that will be the case.

Thank you Dans

I didn´t expect so many drivers to comply with the allocations either.

It´s easy to see how Mercedes and Ferrari, with just one exception each, are rock solid, while Renault is not, and Honda.... well, what can we say about Honda?....
