Went doing what he loved but that's still a bum way to go - on a track day.

Reminds me of Jim Clark.

RIP.

A friend of mine was at the TD - I heard the day was stopped due to a fatality and it came out that it was Ben.

It's dangerous business this motorsport lark. Make no mistake.

Yet, we still do it, or follow it and accept that for some times in your life - without a struggle, or without risk and pain - that your life is the lesser for it.

Track day😕. So sad. Having watched bike track days as a car driver I was always surprised at how different they looked in terms of overtaking rules etc. I suspect in some ways racing is actually far safer as everyone will be riding at a similar pace and standard even though it sounds like this was sessioned.

RIP, thoughts go out to his family and friends.
