Toro Rosso STR13 Speculation Thread

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

The W08 and RB13 were not exactly shrink wrapped and they turned out okay. The STR13 should be fine and just needs some things to be adjusted. Nothing about it being difficult or impossible to achieve but that it will require extra work to do so.

Right, probably a little more this time with the PU change because the layout is different than the last two.

No Ferrari-style high sidepod intake this year as the side impact sturcture stays high. A conventional triangular intake confirmed.

Interested to see if STR sticks with the "Mini-Merc" concept or goes back to Red Bull style aero.

Yes but STR is a pionner and an innovator.
They adopted that kind of split airbox before Merc and the raised front whisbones at the same time as Merc, so no copying there...
STR is copied more often...

I also suspect we may see a surprise from Force India as it is empty day in terms of car launches....who knows. ;)
