Lets start then. It is said that there will be some changes in concept. My guess is that the changes will be mostly for mechanical grip and not aero. Aero wise, i cant imagine something fundamental. Sure there will be improvements, mainly in the bargeboards, probably the nose, better packaging etc. I really wonder though, is this high rake philosophy really better than the Mercedes approach? I know that something so fundamental would be of no point for just one year.

Front suspension was mentioned few times as a weak point of the MCL34, so I guess this will be one of the main areas that will be changed on the new car, however this usually have domino effect so I expect quite a few changes from front to back.

I think they will keep the nose design they shifted to where it's trying to make it has as minimal effect on the rest of the car as possible, similar to Mercedes.

I wonder if they might increase the wheelbase even further, I don't know how the MCL34 fare against the others wheelbase wise, but it seems to be good way go get more out of the floor, and getting the front wheels even furter away from the bargeboards will make it easier to control the wake??

They are truly becoming boats on wheels

On the topic, I think they will keep the same length, RBR car is a good example we need to follow

Interesting figures although the graphs accentuate the length differences. The difference between longest and shortest is 79 mm (a hair over 3 inches for those that only use imperial). Not the big difference that many seem to think exists.

I'd guess the MCL35 will keep the middle-of-the-road length and rake approach. After all, it's the bolt on bits that give the performance, not the absolute length/rake.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

Yes really, im still dissapointed they didnt cap the wheelbase in the 2021 regulations, I know its mostly for aesthetics, but so is much of the other regulations like swept wings etc.

The cars doesnt even look 2 meters wide because of the proportions

It's actually 3600 mm:

3.4.2 Wheelbase
The distance in X between the front wheel centre line (XF=0) and rear wheel centre line (XR=0)
must not exceed 3600mm.
