The Hungary guy never predicted it, he just nailed it completely.

In 100m sprint, there's a correction of 100ms. So if you start within 100ms of the sign, it will be considered a false start. No such correction is present in F1.

Is it worth the risk? Probably not. A frontrunner will not take the risk to get a penalty and a mid- to back runner will need to get around standing cars, loosing what he gains that way plus risk on a penalty too.
