Yes, perhaps Fellipe feels more comfortable in the heat than Kimi and wants to make full use of the new aero package. It would fit given their backgrounds.

But we all know Massa Cant overtake unless his car is alot faster

I think he suffers from "Hill" Sindrome, Very very fast drivers, but Cant overtake for toffee.
All his wins are from poles.

If he does get pole on Saturday, which is looking plausible going off their pace in Friday's practice, he'll most probably win on Sunday.

If he doesn't get pole, even if the Ferrari's pace is slightly better than that of the Mclaren, I think the Mclaren will be the favourites. Through being strategically superior, Massa's incompetence at overtaking and Alonso and Hamilton being more consistent throughout the grand prix.

Any signs of the frisbee front wheel covers on the Ferrari's? Will the FIA allow them?

The RBRs and the

STRs were showing good pace in practice. Perhaps the Newey design suits the smooth surface and fast corners of Magny particularly well? Or maybe the "four car strategy" is starting to pay off in data acquisition and they're making headway in understanding how to make the most of the design in general? Plus of course STR will be running their new seamless shift for the first time under race conditions.

Tomba and I will be away today for a daytrip, so the news about the qualifying session will be later than normal. Sorry for this

Btw, it's just blocked in Massa's car with a cover. It's not "holeless" front bumper. You can clearly see it in better pics.
