water dyno

does anyone know (not speculate) if air in the line of the hydraulic line from the master cylinder on the water brake and the gauge will give the wrong reading?

As a general rule, pressure is the same everywhere in the line. Therefore, the air will compress until it's pressure is the same as the fluid in the line. The only drawback, in theory, is the response time of the gauge, which should be only a second or two delayed.

wrong. the gas compresses to the same pressure as the surrounding fluid, and the gauge works on pressure. 01j is right.
