Hey guys,
I'm wanting to replace the engine in my W124 Mercedes from a petrol m102 to an OM606 turbo diesel. I have decided that the easiest and cheapest way of doing this would be to buy a rust bucket of a w210 E300 then I would have most of the parts I will need.
I am aware that most of the wiring loom will need changing over along with the fuel system. Are there any areas which I am completely overlooking that could make this project a waste of time due to requiring serious modification? Can the fuel tank be modified to pump diesel? Return line etc?
Anyone have any experience with this?
