Cowell only said that they will test some experimental parts for 2026 later in the year, he said nothing about suspension parts or that they would race with it. That was a phantasy product of some guys. Especially because the suspension can’t be the same next year. There’s barely a part from the AMR25, which can be used in the AMR26…
I'm 100% certain Suspension parts was mentioned. I "PRESUMED" he meant internal parts(torsion spring, dampers, etc) cause obviously all the external stuff is gonna be different.
I have to correct myself, Cowell said that they will try to race parts that will be similar across the 25er and 26er car. But no specific mention what parts he means, so it could be anything. It's also the question how many parts can be used in both cars, I guess some internal parts (as you mentioned) are not far from the truth. But for sure not a new rear or front suspension...
"In addition, we're developing any components that are similar across the '26 and '25 cars now so we can take them to circuits this season and do full race distances with them. If we avoid issues, these races will provide the validation testing we need to say these components are ready to go into the '26 car. There are many components we will go racing with in the second half of the season which could be on next year's car."

Allison admitted this week that the new Mercedes rear suspension made the car more difficult and unprecitable under braking and turn-in at high speed, so they go back to the old configuration. Don't believe that AMR want to bind ressources for new problems this year...
