The super formula coverage of the last race said there were rumours of him doing the complete Japanese GP weekend.

I want to know why nobody is talking about Nick Cassidy as a potential driver in F1. He drove all the way up from 14th on the grid to finish third at the last Super Formula race, making his soft tyres last almost the entire race without losing pace on them compared to other soft tyre runners. He looks like a really good driver (and, in true Red Bull style, they supported him and then dropped him a few years ago).

Did he retain his Toyota ties?

so that gives 4 gp for toro rosso/ redbull to decide between kvatt and gasley who to drop. i don't see it personally would be the nail in the coffin if they did drop one of them

I think Kvyat is already negotiating with another team for 2020.
I really don't think he wants to drive another season at STR.
He already started at STR in 2014.

Options for a more competitive seat are practically non existent, Haas seem to be going for Hulk and Haas aren't better than STR, by the way...

I am thinking of Alfa Romeo for next year.
Kvyat did a superb job for Ferrari last year and Giovinazzi is not doying very well.

Yep, and one of the hardest weekend as his best friend passed away. He is very confident in STR car, he should be fast also in a ferrari, the car that tends to have strong end and slight understeer.

Indeed. Good race pace in the TR and driving from both drivers. New specification engine seems more powerful in race-trim, and reliable.

Yeah, Kvyat looked very fast with the Spec 4. Also Gasly seems to have recovered confidence on fighting, the STR suits best his driving style. Happy to see him doing well and not fall apart after the switch like Kvyat was.

Monza and Toro Rosso seem to produce some remarkable result. Race pace of both cars were matching RedBull and near the top teams. Im changeable conditions the car seem to come alive. Gasly was as fast if not faster than Max and Albon. If as predicted there is rain on Sunday then another podium for Kvyat might be on the offer.

Torro Rosso has all the non-aero qualities of Redbull and little less drag. Just what Monza needs.

Str in Gasly hands out qualified rain master Max in Hungary last year,the Rbr is not particularly good in the wet .they are lot of cars in the middle fields who don't have particularly good aero but are not fighting at the front in Monza
