It seems RB15 still have some work to do with the rear.
I dont know how Max's car looks. But it seems galsy was not good in turn 10 and corner exit,he couldn't overtake Stroll because he just couldn't be close enough in turn 10.

Red Bull Honda was not good enough on this track. Overtaking on this track seemed very difficult, we could see Lewis unable to overtake Vettel who was struggling second part of the race. Max race went for a toss the moment he got stuck behind Bottas. After that, it seemed like they tried to salvage few points rather risk breaking the engine.

Honda upgrade is few race away so it was time they went into conservative mode

Yeah the same redbull car that was quicker than Ferrari and Mercedes on Monaco needs to work on its rear. The data shows Honda is the weakness here, judging by post race reaction from Tanabe they realise this, his words were " as soon as". Even max on fresh mediums took few laps to overtake the Renaults who were on old hard rubbers and they were lapping within few tenths of Max not the 0.8 delts between the tyres.

Do you watch the interviews with Max on dutch television? Over and over again Max is saying the biggest problem is RB15's lack of grip, the RB14 was a better car and that the honda engine is fine. Ofcourse more power from the engine is welcome, but thats the case for every team.

From Ted's Notebook, apparently Ferrari and Redbull want to revert back to 2018 tyre specifications due to an inability to switch on the current tyres. It's a little bit more that engine and aero deficiencies.

In motogp there were rules keeping competition alive or they were making rules to make it.
For example; after a race MM93 dominated, Rossi had said that I would like to brake as MM93 did with this ?? mm discs. But we are (yamaha) not good at braking with small diameter discs. That times dorna allow one of two different size of discs for some races and one for others.
After this statement they allowed big discs for whole season and this made Yamaha more competitive remained part of season.
I don't think that fia want to see competition but if they wants they have to do somethings.

A fair system is when the rules are the same for everyone.in moto gp the rules to move to spec ecu cost the Japanese manufacturers while the likes of Ducati didn't change anything. Honda had to learn new electronics give up its screamer of an engine and build a Big Bang .yamaha never recovered and thus hurting Rossi fans the biggest crowd drawer

If I examined with same questions with native English speaker, can we say that it is fair exam as it is same for both. No.
I have suspect about fia all the time. Not now. But this is just a feeling (strong feeling). For example they can break mecedes winning series by just ignoring the incident which is not that big in reality. But they choose the other way.
The important thing is that this is a show and making show a real show, making it woth to watch by puting in it more competitions. when fia back to 2018 tyres it will be same for all too. Still fair isn't it?
Mercedes is making wonderful job and it is fair that they get WCC wdc both. But after wheel to wheel racing. Then we all will be happy

If people join sport agree or the rules and sign a Concorde agreement you shouldn't part were through the process change rules so that u could hurt those that are doing well is not right like with mass damper or aero during Rbr domination. Then they is the issue with Vettel penalty for joining the track " unsafely" because according to the stewards the offense was steering toward Lewis but that was around 50 meters after he already joined the track,so choosing a particular line is not an offense as long as u don't suddenly change direction

As you said they did it before. Why they don't do now.
At start haas joined track unsafely because he has full control of car before the enter but vettel case is not that simple

From an interview with Max yesterday.

In an Italian newspaper, CEO Helmut Marko expressed his concerns this weekend about whether they can keep Verstappen, with the current weapons. His contract with Red Bull will only end at the end of next year, but the Dutchman would have an escape clause in his commitment. Faced with Marko's statements, Verstappen reacted calmly after his race. ,, We all know it needs to be better, but I believe in the project we started with Honda. We all work very hard to make progress in terms of performance and we will see where that will take us in the coming races. With a little more power and more balance it can all look very different. In Monaco we were the second best team. I knew in advance that things would not go so well here in Canada. Last year (when he came in second in Montreal, ed.) our car was a lot better than that of Mercedes and Ferrari, but now I would not dare to say that we are superior to them. It is no secret that we have to improve the car considerably, but we already know that from the start of the season. So this is not a shock to me, what has happened here. "
Max is talking about the chassis. The engine needs only a little bit more power ( because you want always more he said).
You can use Google translate, than you have acces to Dutch articles about Max.

He works on Spanish TV, Movistar F1. And before the GP started, he was on the grid with one of the RB15, and said that while explaining the upgrades they had on Canada. He didn't said the source as usual, but he is well informed, so I trust him.

Granted the chassis isnt quite Merc level but it is clearly better than Renault yet both cars were ahead of Gasly who was on similar startegy.
This year we have two teams to get extra data, what is coincidental so far is on power tracks all Honda cars suffer. I would rather an engine upgrade asap.
