If you're looking for Alonso, he's at Enstone working on the 2021 car's aero!

Think we need one of these pictures here until March 2nd. It's the wrong year car but hey it seems to be pretty much what they presented on the F2 car.

So what people actually expect from this team next year? Did Alpine taking over Renault had any financial impact in context of pure result next season? Just a question from one Alonso fan on it for adjusting the expectation for next season.

After following F1 since 2006 every race and after seeing Gasly winning in Torro Rosso against the odds and Perez in Force India, can they eye for a win in 2021, eventough Force India and Torro Rosso made it before Renault?

I was wondering if it maybe had anything to do with distancing from Nissan?

As Renault and Nisan are, Erm, what do they call themselves? associated? co-owned or what ever?
A new brand may allow some advertising on another car, or even the same car as 'sponsors'

Next year or this year?

It's essentially but a name change, for all that it is it's still Renault.
Only that Renault have 'decided' that the 'F1 image' fits better with their sportscar devision, Alpine.
I dont believe they invest any more or any less, so there won't be major changes.

For example, Aston Martin is a far greater change / impact in comparison with Racing Point,
than Alpine with Renault.

Since Ferrari has 'intensified' their ties with Haas, i'd say Haas also has a greater 'improvement' compared to 2020.

However, Renault has shown that they have increased their performance in 2020, and i expect this to grow into 2021.
Alonso's presence will also be a benefit, though Daniel was a great aquirement too.

either way, i do believe Alpine/Renault has their focus more on 2022 than it has on 2021, so I would argue that looking at the 'pecking order' or what to expect for 2021, i don't think much difference to 2020.

I think they might get a bit more competition from Haas, but not much anything else.

Racing point was just ahead of them in 2020 anyways, and with them being Aston Martin, and certainly working on improvement, i think they'll get a bigger lead in 2021 than in 2020.

2021 will be an adjustment year i guess.
