Drayson? 42nd actually :)

UPD: I'm now having an early breakfast. A cup of coffee and a humble pie, as the Kolles Audis are running 5th and 6th. #-o

He meant Patick Dempsey(sp?) The dude who plays a doctor in TV show Grey's Anatomy. He is racing a F430...

I think Audi jinxed it when they made the "Truth in 24" documentary by having said "It always rains at Le Mans"...the weather looks pretty damn good and it looks like that'll be the problem for Audi....

Feel bad for Narain actually on the Kolles Audi front, it is kinda funny that he dislocated his shoulder going to the grid....

That was well in the line with their 'performance' this weekend. Surprisingly that's where their LOLs ended. Now they're just racing... like er.. racers.

Cancelled.

The race is amazing though. Such a different atmosphere, enthusiasm and sportsmanship compared to what we see in F1.

UPD: He's now being removed from the car. He's conscious and talking to the medics.
Has anybody heard an update on this. Last I heard he was awake at the hospital.

I totally agree!
not to mentions the wonderfully designed, and good looking cars
There were accidents, drama, retirements, and competition! classic racing =D>
I haven't enjoyed a race this much in a while (probably since Fuji 07)

I caught the start and end 90 of Le Mans this year. The action looked good (from the Eurosport news replays)however I quickly lost track of who was where in the race. I can pick out cars. THe commentators weren't much help, calling the wrong names of drivers a fair few times.

Something that got me was the timing screen online and on the TV. It doesn't say whether a car is still circulating or is out with terminal damage.

Something they kept repeating was that to be classified you had to finish the last lap. Which got me thinking, if you covered say 400 laps but only lasted 20hrs yet the car in 2nd had 399 and crossed the line, would that mean the 400 lap car doesn't win?
I thought races by time were you went as far in a set period and the person that got the furthest in that time period won.

Anyway, congrats to Peugeot, Aston and Corvette.
