Site update 8.2.0 : overview of changes

Post

Hi all,
a site update was deployed today, and here is a short list of the changes things which come to my mind:

- New icons all over the site
- Changed forum layout, reducing the clutter of large images. Hopefully also some improvements for IE users who did not enjoy an optimal forum layout
- Event pages: from the GP calendar you can now click on every GP and view more information about that event
- Larger images in the news articles
- Simpler site search, offering google as an alternative to the deep search
- Improved layout of http://www.f1technical.net/f1db/cars/
- Design changes to improve readability
- More bits here and there...

So, feel free to run through it and reply here with your comments and error reports. You can consider this your newyear present ;)

Enjoy

Many improvements. Changes that make navigation easy and direct. Every new version is like this. Just gets better and better. Continual improvement over 10 years. Very unusual. Very good. Something to learn here. Thanks.
