- Audi brought the first ADUO in Spain. A bit of gain, not so much
- Ferrari will bring in Austria the first ADUO, less than 10 HP, and probably another one less than 10HP
- Mercedes will bring reliability upgrade for engine

Honda has split the team:
- They are working already on the 27' engine given all the issues, power down, weight etc... compare to the other
- And they will bring only one ADUO upgrade. They won't use the other one.

They speak about a "reasonable upgrade" but not a game changer: My prediction is that this B version of the engine will improve every aspect, and bring only 20HP to the engine.

Then there is the chassis upgrade as well, but the most realistic is to fight with Williams at best, and beat Cadillac.
I don't expect much.

Sadly I expect 2027 to fight for the points and not more. I have more confidence for 2028/2029

Well, with ADUO they can improve the ICE. They can't change the electric part.

As per the FIA’s list, permitted upgrades include elements of the ICE, engine exhaust system, Turbocharger and waste gate/pop-off, ICE- or exhaust-mounted electrical components and sensors, ERS (and associated cooling systems), the MGU-K, and the car’s Control Electronics, along with hydraulic functions, fluids and ballast.

If that's true that it's really wacky. And they screwed Red Bull big time.

Though the "ERS and MGU-K" part doesn't make sense. The K is what does the recovery. Maybe they meant storage as well?

honda are going to need to find more than +/_ 70hp. with the changes for 27-28 the ICE is going up even further. hopefully the fact that honda voted for it means that they believe itll help as opposed to leaving them further behind.

This is what Shintaro Orihara declared. They will only do one engine upgrade this year arround summer.

Well, that would be quite a waste of opportunity... If they brought a rushed upgrade in November at least they could test it for a few races, even if only in free practice.
Anyway I forgot that they get another two next year. So at least it won't be a huge handicap.

FYI you can generate the ± symbol by using holding down alt key and entering 241.... ° symbol is alt-248.

Actually it adds the ˝ character here. For it to actually work on all (Windows) systems you need alt+0177.

Based on the Power Unit Components Table they can update storage.
Apart from sensors, only the fuel pump and injectors and the energy box can't be upgraded for some reason.

Is doesn't matter honestly! Aston Martin act like they never was in f1. Even more... is not the first time that they delayed things or skip small updates. I understand that for Alonso doesn't matter if 8th or 22nd. But end of the year in points is matter a lot in every aspect. In F1 and overall in competition motorsport, if you bring nothing, you learn nothing! Doesn't matter how good is the windtunnel, cfd etcetera. You need real test and confirmation about the package and new parts. But who could this know better than Aston from the past 2 years of fails,not working parts,correlation issues

They still have a lot of drivability issues they need to solve. They can address those through software. Software can be changed as needed until qualifying, so I'm sure they're working on it. I'm just not sure how much driver time that will take up during FP.
